EarPort opens to the public with a first small festival after the re-opening on October 1, 2015. The young Korean clarinet player Heni-Hyunjung Kim and the author, poet and translator Frank Schablewski prepare a program in which self-portraits, the dialogue with each other and the communication with the audience will show what EarPort is all about: a space for experimental arts. With Kunsu Shim's excessive vocal performance piece Stäbler and Shim will be performing as opener of the first EarFest.

Each artists works in his/her medium, yet an exchange will happen. Jiang Zhuyun as a sound, video and performance artist sends via internet sound messages to Johanna Meyer, who will answer these with visual messages (drawings/models).
